KCLU's Lance Orozco was on hand as about two dozen players to part in ceremonies to sign letters of intent to play for schools like USC, UCLA, and Notre Dame.

Santa Barbara County tries to tackle homeless concerns

Santa Barbara County is trying to answer calls to do more to help some of its chronically homeless, after six deaths from that community have been reported since the first of the year.

KCLU's Lance Orozco reports county leaders are asking a task force to investigate the deaths, while they've also committed support for some emergency warming shelters.

Two dozen Oscar nominees set to appear at SB International Film Festival

The Oscar nominations are out, and it's not just exciting news for the nominees. It's big news for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which received word that actors, and filmmakers coming to the 25th annual festival received a grand total of 30 Oscar nominations. KCLU's Lance Orozco gives us a preview of the festival, which opens Feburary 4th.

Reagan Library puts never before publically seen items on display

Some never before publically seen mementos, and artifacts from President Ronald Reagan's life, and especially his time in office are now on display in a new exhibition in Ventura County.

KCLU's Lance Orozco reports it opened just in time for the celebration of what would have been Reagan's 99th birthday on February 6th.
